Sanctuary is crafted at the edge of the wild, produced from locally grown barley that is malted on site, and then matured in 100% ex-Bourbon casks. Inspired by the coastal forests of Vancouver Island – shaped by wood and water – it honors tradition with a uniquely Canadian coastal character, capturing the rugged beauty and elemental forces of its home.
The first in a series of small batch, limited release whiskies, our Sanctuary Classic Edition pays homage to the longstanding history and traditions of single malt whisky.
Produced from 100% BC grown barley.

Appearance
Pale gold.
Aroma
Vanilla, poached pear, pomander and baking spice.
Palate
Lighter-bodied with notes of honey, orchard fruit, subtle citrus and a spice that coats the palate.
Finish
Smooth and warming with notes of wood and spice.
Overall
Matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks, this inviting whisky balances our unique distillation philosophy with the traditions of single malt resulting in a spirit that is original yet familiar.

2oz Sanctuary Classic Single Malt WhiskyÂ
0.33oz Honey SyrupÂ
0.33oz Lemon Juice
3 Drops of Sage Tincture
1.33oz SodaÂ
Garnish: Lemon Cheek (Optional)Â
Steps:Â
- Add ice, followed by Sanctuary Classic Single Malt Whisky, Lemon Juice, Honey Syrup and Sage Tincture to a shaker.Â
- Shake until combined.Â
- Strain into a glass, top with Soda Water, and add Lemon Cheek for garnish if desired.Â
- Serve & enjoy.Â
